It is with real regret that I announce the closure of LBS Fort William Ltd. We will be closing our doors for the final time on 30th April.

Many of you will know that I have been trying to sell the business for several years without success. I have made the difficult decision to close.

We are currently working with our landlord to identify a suitable assignee for the lease, with the hope that paint supplies can continue to be provided to both trade and retail customers in the area. We will keep you informed as soon as we have any further news.

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the Lochaber community for the incredible support shown to us over the years. Many of you have been with us since the early days, and the goodwill, loyalty and custom we have received has been truly humbling.

I would also like to thank the many fantastic members of staff who have worked with us over the years — so many great characters and genuinely good people. In particular, I feel it only right to give special recognition to Vivian Gillies. Having been with us for over 20 years, she has been a true stalwart of the business and the most loyal colleague anyone could hope to have.

We will continue to trade as normally as possible until 30th April. We would greatly appreciate all outstanding debts being settled by that date.

If you have any gift vouchers, please remember to redeem them before we close. Any accounts in credit will be refunded by BACS prior to 30th April.

Please also keep an eye out for upcoming clearance sales, where there will be some excellent bargains as we reduce specific stock lines.
